Hello My name is Sana aka The Thrifty Hijabi and Welcome to my wonderful world of thrifting and all things thrifty!! As a newbie to the blogging world I am extremely excited to share pieces of myself with you. I am a mom, a wife, a Baltimore, MD native, a recent resident of Brooklyn, NY of the past 12 years and now currently residing in Atlanta, GA.

 

I am a bargain shopper who loves her thrift stores. I only shop retail if it’s a deal and I love a good clearance rack!!! I believe that fashion, makeup and home decor shouldn’t cost a fortune and looking like a million bucks only takes pennies with a great sense of style and an unlimited imagination. I look at thrifting and bargain shopping as not only a great and cost effective way for self expression but also a great way towards self sufficiency. After all what good are things that look good but leave our bank accounts and pockets empty?? Not good at all!! I try to instill into my children the value of spending and investing their money wisely and not just on “stuff” that will depreciate the minute you purchase it.

 

Therefore I am always constantly seeking out new ways to becoming more innovative and resourceful to avoid breaking the bank.
